Longhouse: Brisbane

 

After successful gatherings in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne, and nationally and internationally online, we are excited to announce CAAP's first Longhouse in Brisbane.

Hosted at Queensland Theatre, we will be exploring what pathways exist, and what needs to be developed for Asian-Australian artists to make their way onto Queensland stages and screens. With a panel of representatives from Queensland’s industry leaders, we’ll be asking questions like: Where do we go? Who can we talk to? What stories do we need to tell right now?

This will be followed by a tour of Queensland Theatre, and a chance to meet and mingle at the bar.

Join us in the Bille Brown Theatre to meet other Queensland creatives and discuss the future of contemporary Asian Australian performance.
